London is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, some would argue the universe, made up of many different cultures, languages, people and food. So let’s bring everyone together for one big celebration!

The London Culture Festival will run from Monday 15th – Saturday 27th August 2011. Its aim is to showcase the creativity of individuals and organisations in various areas that include street art, music, dance, fine art, visual art and theatre to name a few. Workshops will include graffiti t shirt making, circus skills, photography, films, cookery and ballroom dancing as well as a 'London’s got talent' competition. The Festival will end with a finale fun day on Sunday 8 August in one of London’s beautiful parks … watch this space to find out where!
This is our first year and as you can imagine, it’s an exciting time as we build relationships with our partners, secure funding (wish us luck) and seek out London’s hidden treasures. London 2012 also presents great opportunities to put London on the global map and create a sense of pride for Londoners. The London Culture Festival is for everyone so keep an eye out to learn how you can get involved and contribute to your community and this vibrant and unique city.
